Madamxtra is the personality at the heart of O.N.S. Entertainment. Her goal is to insure that every artist in Central Mississippi who seeks a way to explore their talents and promote their craft can find knowledgeable mentors and like-minded people to guide them through the maze of the arts/entertainment business.

It’s a jungle out there and Madamxtra knows first hand how difficult it can be to get seen and heard by the right people. Madamxtra is also aware that daily life can impose stifling challenges to crafts people who want to earn extra cash by selling the art they’ve worked so diligently to fashion.

The primary mission of Madamxtra and O.N.S. is reaching out to youth with the simple message: “You can do any good thing through Christ who strengthens you.” O.N.S. is not a religious or factional organization, but one that encourages self appreciation through self expression. Giving to ones community is the heart of building a cohesive society. Our goal is one of “ Cohesion through the arts.” This is how we assist in healing the angst of broken families, drug addictions, criminal tendencies and other moral issues that blight our community. We give back to it.

Discovery Missions

Since 2005 O.N.S. has helped countless artist of all ages to realize their fullest potential and enhance their standards of living through higher education, obtaining driver’s licenses, GEDs and gainful employment. We know that Art flows more freely when the lights are on and the baby has shoes. This is why Mentorship is the key ingredient in the O.N.S assistance program. Anyone can feel alone, but artist need to connect to other artists who’ve been there and done that, in order to circumvent the roadblocks and pitfalls that await along the journey. Artists gain peace of mind and solace when they have guidance and real answers to the complex problems of the arts world.

It’s no wonder that most artists can never “Quit their day job” to pursue excellence in their medium, but no artist should give up on themselves or their quest to share their art with the world. The internet has opened countless doors to artists in every field, yet the struggle remains the same.

Where to go and what to do when I get there are the age old questions that have kept singers’ voices locked in the shower and beautiful works of art confined to closets and attics. Artists in Central Mississippi need to know that there are markets for their work/talent. Spectators want to see new works and buyers await with cold-hard-cash to own and enjoy one-of-a-kind, hand crafted pieces.
